the North-South Expressway. It comes equipped with international
standard requirements of multiple carriageway, excellent safety
features, well landscaped, superb positioned laybys, rest and
service areas with food stalls, toilets, showers facilities, public
telephones, service station, resting shed, ample parking area,
and children's playground. At some point motels and automated
teller machines are available for public convenience. Vista points
are located at scenic sections along the highway. The Traffic
Monitoring Centre operates 24 hours to assist with inquiries and
breakdowns. Plusronda (highway surveillance) is a complimentary
24-hour service whereby PLUS vehicles patrol the expressway and
provide assistance to motorists who encounter difficulties.
With all the facilities available, it made self-drive is an excellent
and wonderful way to see the Malaysia. Apart from the Expressways,
Malaysia offers thousands of kilometers of country roads that
